Humble Vegetable

Could some kind of envy lie
behind the fact that we systematically deny
that the herb is naturally more adept than men 
when it comes demonstrating 
ultimate humility, utility, 
and solidarity with all of life ? 
When we ourselves are the key-whole 
for this particular herbal key? 
The model of the human/herbal interface 
shall logically be consciously replaced 
with the highest version we can envision. 
One based on recognition 
of it's innate intellect as well as
the value of sincerely respecting 
our humble vegetable cousin.
